masters in Ayurveda, Self-Knowledge, and Earth-based traditions, all of which are now weaving into my own teachings. What a path this is to be devoted to. Every day, I thank yoga for the graceful way it brought me home.
From Movement to Devotion
When I completed my first yoga training, I didn’t wait for things to feel perfect. I took my teacher's advice to heart: get ready on the way. So I began. I started teaching at a local studio, offering Vedic astrology sessions, and just kept moving with each step that revealed itself. And I'll never forget the generous Kate Kendall who gave me my first chance to teach when I was still fresh out of training. There was no polished business plan, no digital funnel, word of mouth was everything. It allowed the work to grow naturally, and 1 do love that. But I've recently started feeling the nudge to bring in more structure, not just for sustainability, but to expand the ways I can serve.
Growth Rooted in Practice
The evolution has been organic. What started as studio classes and one-on-ones has naturally expanded into deeper offerings—trainings, retreats, and courses. Myself and the community are both craving more and more to deepen in practice, to connect to the source of it all. So we create with this as our guiding intention. We launched a Yoga Teacher Training here in Byron Bay, under the guidance of Anand and Sattva Yoga. We also birthed Devi Pilgrimages—a retreat initiative offering annual immersions in India. Deep pilgrimage into the heart of yoga. Now, we have the opportunity to build on these foundations. Deeper offerings, deeper connection, deeper clarity in how to hold it all.
Lessons I've Learned
This path is a constant reminder of the great mystery that creates this whole play of life. We are never in control, yet everything is under control. Having a clear altar and being in devotion reminds me every day to surrender myself to the service of this work. My prayer is for my life to be an offering back to the practice that gave me everything. Even when I didn't have a business plan, the surrender and devotion gave me alignment and from there direction. I am learning that the more silence I cultivate, the clearer I can hear the call of the next step that needs to unfold.
It becomes a beautiful co-creation, an intimate dialogue with life, allowing it's flow and showing up to serve the need of the hour.
My Message to Founders
Don't wait until it's perfect. Walk the path while you build it.
Let your work be an offering, not a performance. That's when it starts to move people.

Business Takeaways
- Yoga Business Journey My teacher always encouraged us to “get ready on the way”, not to wait until everything is perfect to start. So that’s what I did, after my first yoga training I started teaching in a local studio, and offering my Vedic astrology sessions, and just moved forward as each step revealed itself.
